Private where it should be. Explicit where it cannot be.
Varta keeps room capture, speaker recognition, and meeting history local. When you use a cloud model, selected context and prompts necessarily leave the device.
Read the data boundaries- Microphone transcription and speaker recognition run on the machine.
- Raw microphone recordings are not saved as meeting history.
- Only the context you select is sent to the configured model provider.
- Optional cloud speech sends the spoken answer text to the speech provider.
Local-first does not mean cloud-free. We name every boundary so teams can make an informed choice.
