Everyone hears the same contribution and can challenge the same reasoning. Varta is intentionally advisory: it can help frame, recall, and question, but it does not edit your code or silently take action.

Is Varta generally available?
Not yet. Version 0.3 is an engineering release candidate. Public signing, packaging, and distribution are still being prepared.
Does Varta work in online meetings?
In-person rooms are the primary supported experience today. Broader online-meeting integration is not complete.
Can Varta use a local model?
Yes, a supported local-model path is available. Capabilities and setup differ from cloud providers, so readiness is checked before a room starts.
Does it record the room?
Varta uses microphone input to understand the conversation, but raw microphone recordings are not saved as the meeting history.
